Using the m68k-atari-mint cross-tools on Ubuntu GNU/Linux

All current Ubuntu releases are supported in my PPA.

Tip: Looking for Debian packages? See there.

  1. Register my PPA on your system:
    sudo add-apt-repository ppa:vriviere/ppa
    
  2. Update your packages index files:
    sudo apt-get update
    
  3. Install the cross-tools meta-package:
    sudo apt-get install cross-mint-essential
    
  4. You are ready to use the cross-compiler!
    m68k-atari-mint-gcc hello.c -o hello.tos
    
  5. You may also want to install the optional libraries:
    sudo apt-get install cflib-m68k-atari-mint
    sudo apt-get install ldg-m68k-atari-mint
    sudo apt-get install sdl-m68k-atari-mint
    sudo apt-get install ncurses-m68k-atari-mint
    sudo apt-get install zlib-m68k-atari-mint
    sudo apt-get install readline-m68k-atari-mint
    sudo apt-get install openssl-m68k-atari-mint
